Public parking: Rio Park and Zorza
For a day visit, consider Rio Park, the covered paid car park in upper Riomaggiore. Another parking area is at Zorza, on the road between Riomaggiore and Manarola. The municipal tourism portal lists locations and prices: check it before travelling, then verify availability, vehicle limits and permitted parking time on arrival. Both areas are separate from our private parking. An empty roadside space may be reserved or subject to a time limit.
ZTL: parking does not grant access to every street
Riomaggiore has restricted traffic zones, known as ZTL, and pedestrian areas. Via De Gasperi is included in the municipal ZTL. Before driving to us, agree your route with Francesca and follow the road signs. Booking accommodation is not a permit to drive anywhere in the village.
The alternative: park in La Spezia and take the train
If you do not need your car during your stay, consider parking in La Spezia and travelling on to Riomaggiore station. Compare the full cost of parking and tickets, and check whether the car can remain for several days. Regional trains also let you visit the other villages without returning to your vehicle.
Private parking at Estate Riomaggiore
Our parking is reserved for guests staying at Mythos or Helios. It costs €25 per day in addition to accommodation. It is not a public car park and is not automatically included when you enquire about an apartment. Tell us you are driving and wait for confirmation of both your dates and the parking space.
Before you travel: parking, luggage and arrival
Include your dates, number of guests and preferred apartment in the enquiry, then select the parking option. Add your expected arrival time and mention a large vehicle or any mobility needs. Francesca replies with availability, a quote and arrival information. Agree your meeting point and how to unload luggage before driving to the entrance.
Once you arrive, explore on foot
Both apartments are at Via De Gasperi 106, in the upper part of the village. You can walk down towards the centre, marina and station, allowing for the uphill journey back. Arranging your parking in advance leaves you free to focus on the village and your trips around the Cinque Terre.
