Parking in Riomaggiore: a private space

You can reach Cinque Terre by car only if you know where the car will sleep. Public lots in Riomaggiore fill up in high season. Our apartments include a reserved private parking space.

Why parking decides the stay

Riomaggiore is a vertical village: narrow streets, a limited-traffic zone and few public bays make arriving by car stressful unless a space is waiting. Many visitors leave the car in La Spezia and take the train. If you prefer to drive — luggage, children, a dog, shopping — you need a reserved space, not “we will find something”.

The Estate Riomaggiore parking space

Mythos and Helios sit at Via De Gasperi 106, in the upper part of the village, reachable by car. We offer private parking on request for €25 per day. It is not a public garage: it is a guest space, confirmed with your dates. In high season ask for it in the stay request, not on arrival.

How to reserve the space

Say that you need parking in the request form. We check the apartment and the space, then confirm. The fee is extra on top of the nightly rate. Smoking is not allowed in the parking area.

If the space is already taken

The public option is Rio Park, up the hill: about 60 bays, €35 a day, max height 1.95 m, no reservations. By 11:00 in July and August it is often full. Otherwise leave the car at La Spezia Centrale and take an 8-minute regional train. We do not promise a municipal bay: if you drive in summer, reserve our space or arrive by train.

Practical tips

• In summer leave extra time: the road from La Spezia toward Cinque Terre clogs on weekends.
• The historic centre is on foot. From the apartment you walk down toward Via Colombo, the harbour and the station.
• Do not leave valuables visible in the car, even in the reserved space.
• If you arrive after 19:00 tell us: check-in and access to the space need coordinating.
