By train: La Spezia Centrale and Riomaggiore
La Spezia Centrale is a connection point for the Cinque Terre, with local trains serving Riomaggiore and the other villages. Enter your departure station and travel date on Trenitalia, checking changes and stops for the service you choose. If arriving from the north, compare connections via Levanto too. Use the timetable for your own journey rather than a fixed travel time from an older guide.
By car: La Spezia and the Cinque Terre coastal road
From the La Spezia motorway exit, head into the city and follow signs towards Riomaggiore along the Cinque Terre coastal road, the Litoranea (370). Check for road updates before setting off. Before entering the village, make sure you have directions for your parking. A navigation app can show an address, but it does not replace the access rules for a restricted traffic zone.
From the station to your apartment, with luggage
The station brings you into the village; our apartments are in the upper part. Allow for uphill streets, steps and your suitcases. Ask Francesca for directions suited to your arrival before travelling. If walking is difficult or you have particular needs, describe them in your enquiry so you can assess the route and the accommodation before choosing.
Parking and access for our guests
You can request private parking at €25 per day, subject to availability and confirmation. Mention that you are driving, agree your meeting point and ask how to unload luggage. Via De Gasperi is within the ZTL: follow the agreed route and municipal signs. Clarify the parking arrangements and access instructions before arriving.
Check-in times and other arrival arrangements
Check-in is between 14:00 and 19:00, with check-out by 10:00. If your train arrives earlier or you expect to reach us later, contact Francesca in advance: other arrangements need confirmation. Let her know about any travel delay too, so you can update the meeting time.
What to send us before your journey
Include your dates, guests and preferred apartment. Add how you are travelling, your expected arrival time, whether you need parking and any pets. Francesca replies personally with availability and a quote. You can open the property map pin to find the location, while following the agreed directions for access.
